Meditation Session

Contour Line Drawing

Mindful contour line drawing can be an effective technique for reducing anxiety by promoting focus, present moment awareness, and a sense of calm. By concentrating on the continuous line and the visual details of the subject, the mind is shifted away from anxious thoughts and towards the sensory experience of drawing.
Cynthia is a fine artist working in acrylics, water color, and other mediums with a focus on lakes and prairies in northern Wisconsin. Reflections, light, and shadows are key elements in her art.

Art Journal

Take your first steps into bookbinding. We will be creating a journal you can use to write, sketch, paint….whatever makes your heart sing. You will be decorating the inside and outside cover with watercolors, markers and colored pencils, then folding and stitching the pages into the cover. Come prepared to create and have fun.
Deb creates art with fibers, textiles, and threads to create a variety of works inspired by life around her. Class Limit: 10
